ART-ER Europe Unit provides information on European Union programs, initiatives and calls for proposals and promotes and supports access to funding opportunities for research and innovation for companies, researchers and different entities based in Emilia-Romagna.
In particular, the Europe Unit carries out activities of:
pre-information and information with newsletters, events and mailings with its services EuropaFacile (on European policies and funding), FIRST (on research and innovation funding), the Europe in Emilia-Romagna portal and Obiettivo PNRR;
monitoring and strategic anticipation on European programming also through the activities of Tavolo Europa - the working group among regional research organizations;
pre-screening with orientation and identification of the most suitable calls for proposals to fund project ideas and support for the regional participation in projects at all stages with EuropER activities;
in-depth study and analysis of content and results of participation in calls and funding programs;
training on programs, rules, tools and stages of participation.
It also plays the role of regional point of contact on European funding both as the APRE Emilia-Romagna Desk (since 2004), as a local node of the Enterprise Europe Network (since its launch in 2008), and as part of the European Innovation Council's business measures (since 2023).
ART-ER supports the participation of the regional stakeholders in many strategic European networks and partnerships for the exchange of information and experiences, the promotion of the regional ecosystem, the development of new projects and opportunities of collaboration.
