Local engagement for highly specialized skills

The local engagement for highly specialized skills involves the development of initiatives at regional and local level to promote innovative ways of accompanying talents in the acquisition of new skills, expecially digital, green, entrepreneurial and transversal skills.

ART-ER staff is present in the every provincial territories to disseminate actions aimed at talents and, with a view to proximity, work closely with stakeholders involved in promoting the development and attraction of highly specialized skills and with them develop initiatives that respond to the specificities of each individual territory.

Different types of projects and initiatives are proposed throughout the regional territory, such as non-formal courses, workshops, hackathons and challenges, presentations of research projects, product presentations, matchmaking with local businesses and needs, information sessions, career day, infojob day, etc... The activities are carried out in strong collaboration with local entities in order to collect functional indications for the planning or review of training activities in line with needs.

The activities are aimed at people who have gained knowledge and experience or who are involved in particularly relevant paths in the fields of training, research and innovation such as: university and graduate students, ITS students and graduates, doctoral students, researchers, aspiring entrepreneurs.
