Observatory on the labour market
Over the years, ART-ER has specialized in the analysis and monitoring of the regional labour market, also in terms of demand for and supply of professional profiles and skills.
It collaborates with the Emilia-Romagna Region and provides technical support to the regional Observatory on the labour market, which is coordinated by the Emilia-Romagna Region Labour Agency and in which knowledge acquisition analyses and investigations are carried out in order to provide integrated reading of labour demand and supply, through the various information sources (statistical and administrative) available.
Among the main interest and research topics, the following are worth mentioning:
- Analysis and monitoring of employment and unemployment levels;
- Demand for and supply of labour, professional profiles and skills;
- Work quality, pay levels and gaps;
- Young people condition and gender gaps.
On these topics, ART-ER collaborates with other Institutions, Research Centers and Universities to jointly develop data-driven research paths. It also oversees the “Regional Coordination Panel between Universities, the Region Labour Agency and ART-ER on the labour market”
