Observatory on the region economy and production system
Over the years, ART-ER has gained skills in the analysis and monitoring of the Emilia-Romagna economic and production system, in order to provide the regional ecosystem with knowledge acquisition tools and high-quality information and analytical bases that enable accurate and timely reading of the main evidence at a micro- and macro-economic level.
It designs scenario analyses and develops analyses on the transformations in the regional production system, in order to monitor the evolution of the business structure in the production sectors and supply chains that are core to the regional system, both as regards long-standing specializations and supply chains and as regards emerging industries and supply chains that have high development potential.
Among the main interest and research topics, the following are worth mentioning:
- Scenario studies on the regional economy and on the production specialization scopes;
- Business and trade internationalization in the region economic system;
- Business and labour market dynamics;
- Industry-specific and geography-specific focuses.
On these topics, ART-ER collaborates with other regional and national Institutions and Research Centers, such as Emilia-Romagna Unioncamere (the Italian Union of Chambers of Commerce) and the region's Universities, to jointly develop data-driven paths and approaches in the analysis and research of public policies.
