Tecnopolo Manifattura Data Valley Hub
It is located in Bologna, at the Via Stalingrado - Via della Manifattura intersection, covers an area of over 120,000 square metres, which was designed and built in the 1950s by Pier Luigi Nervi for the then Manifattura Tabacchi, with innovative architectural solutions. The design by Gmp Architekten (von Gerkan, Marg and Partners), which, in 2012, won the international architecture competition for the regeneration of the former Manifattura Tabacchi area, includes the restoration and recovery of the existing buildings (which are listed for protection) and the construction of some new buildings.
