The Unit promotes the enhancement of industrial research skills within universities, research centers, and regional companies by organizing existing research offerings and facilitating technology transfer to the business world.
It collaborates with the Region in defining the Smart Specialization Strategy (S3) and in managing regional calls for Research and Development, as well as coordinating the Emilia-Romagna High Technology Network and the Clust-ER Associations, as well as the Region's participation in national and European networks on research and innovation.
Through the Thematic Hubs, ART-ER supports the regional strategy and ensures its connection and integration with activities within the Technopoles Network, the High Technology Network, and Clust-ERs.
