Assistance to the Emilia-Romagna Region in defining and implementing strategic documents and operational plans for international relations and international cooperation actions for development; support to design, monitoring and assessment of integrated projects financed by the European Union, by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and by the Italian Agency for Cooperation and Development.
Strengthening the region's participation in the European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) and support in representing the regional interests in the ETC coordination mechanisms (Interreg Euro-MED, Interreg Europe, Central Europe, Italy-Croatia, ESPON, URBACT programmes), in macroregional strategies (EUSAIR) and in European networks (CPMR). Technical assistance in the transnational cooperation programme Interreg VI B IPA ADRIATICO IONICO 2021 - 2027 as the entity hosting the Joint Secretariat.
Assistance in Social Innovation programming and projects; implementation of actions aimed at fostering the potential and contribution of Third Sector Entities (TSE) in developing policies and services to meet the emerging challenges; facilitation of interactions between the ecosystem and social economy players. Support to the implementation of the FAMI and PON INCLUSIONE regional projects, which aim at the social inclusion of vulnerable groups (migrants and homeless).
