ART-ER’s Work Group for Gender Equality was set up with the main goal of defining, promoting, implementing and monitoring actions to ensure gender equality within its organization. Its purposes include:

Data Collection and Monitoring

  • Collecting, monitoring and making available disaggregated data on the Company’s staff;
  • Organizing surveys and focus groups to obtain an updated picture, both quantitative and qualitative, of the company’s environment;
  • Identifying specific needs, strengths and weaknesses on which action is to be taken.
     

Design and updating of the Three-year Plan

  • Preparing the three-year Gender Equality Plan;
  • Regularly updating the Plan consistently with the organizational developments and with any new emerging needs.
     

Coordination of the Planned Actions

  • Coordinating the start and the implementation of  the planned actions.
     

Monitoring and Continuous Development

  • Coordinating the process for the monitoring of the actions and contributing to the continuous development of the initiatives underway.
     

Relationship with the Company Top Management and Personnel

  • Liaising with the top Management and the employees, ensuring effective communication and constructive cooperation.
     

Raising Awareness and Training

  • Implementing awareness-raising and training actions targeting Area Managers, Senior Managers and all the staff; 
  • Assessing the possibility to replicate those initiatives also for shareholders and stakeholders, promoting a wide dissemination of gender equality goals.
     

The GEP Work Group acts as an engine for the implementation and maintenance of policies and practices promoting gender equality in all spheres throughout the organisation.

The Group consists of ART-ER staff members, who contribute the Plan with complementary skills and who belong to various Areas, Units and Structures:

GEP Focal Point
The GEP Focal Point is the information and contact point for the Company’s employees about equal opportunities in the various dimensions covered by the GEP. It supports the dissemination of a culture of respect for the  enhancement of people and diversities and to engage employees who are encouraged to tell their stories, make suggestions and actively participate in the GEP implementation.
